THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING ICE JAMS ON SQUAW CREEK MAY LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING. THE AREAS OF MOST CONCERN ARE ALONG SQUAW CREEK FROM WITHIN THE CITY OF AMES...TO THE SOUTH SKUNK RIVER. WATER LEVELS MAY FLUCTUATE RAPIDLY DUE TO RIVER ICE ACTION. FLOOD WATERS MAY RISE RAPIDLY AND WITH LITTLE OR NO WARNING...RESULTING IN FLASH FLOODING.PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
